Nala Sandbank Sunset

As the afternoon softens, a private speedboat carries just the two of you fifteen minutes out to a sandbank with no name and no other footprints — yours alone for the evening.

You step ashore to a table already set at the water’s edge: white linen, candlelight, and the whole Indian Ocean turning gold, then rose, then indigo in front of you. For a while there is nothing to do but watch the sun go down.

Then dinner begins. A private chef cooks course by course, a private waiter tends to every detail, and — quietly, in the background — a photographer and videographer capture the evening from the sand, the water, and the air.

You leave with more than the memory. Ten finished photographs and a 60-second film arrive in your own Google Drive a few days later, in full resolution. By eight you're back on Ukulhas, already wondering when you can do it again.
